in Pokemon sapphire the fossils are in the route 111 desert (closest to lavaridge if you intend to fly), it is at the top, right hand corner. be aware that if you get the root fossil, you cant get the claw fossil 2.
you get the Pokemon Lilieep. I got lileep. If you pick the claw one you get anorith. ;D

β 14y agoGo to oreburgh city museum and talk to the fossil guy. then go outside and come back in. he will have a lileep for you.
