its pretty hard to explain, but. ill try my best. first you need to get the 7th gym badge. than you get the hmDIVE from steven. than you teach that move to one your Pokemon and you swim around the sea near mossdeep. when you go under. theres going to be like a darker marking on the floor. you go next to it and press a thann you'll most likely find something. you need to get yellow shard for thunder stone red shard for res stone and blue shard for waterstone. they only have three. when you get the one you wanted, when you look for the treasure hunter. his house is located on the ocean. its near mossdeep. well GOOD LUCK .

you could just go to new mauville and get it there its all the way in the back where the generator is at or trade from firered or leaf green but you will rather do it my way or the yellow shard way its your choice.

You can trade a Yellow Shard at Hunter's house for a Thunderstone.You can also get one in New Mauville,but you'll need the Basement Key to unlock it.
