Her full name is Hermione Jean Granger, or Hermione Jean Weasley when she married.

J.K. Rowling originally said that her middle name was Jane but in book seven it was changed to Jean. It is presumed she did this so she did not have the same middle name as Umbridge.

She's extremely intelligent and attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Harry and Ron. She has been friends with the afore mentioned since their first year at Hogwarts.
