It is only in the imaginations of the creators of the Disney movie "The Princess and the Frog"; therefore, it is a fictional land.
No, it is a fictional land.
Princess Tiana's prince was prince Naveen of Maldonia that was her prince buy the movie to find out if you don't believe me ^^
Prince Naveen is a character in Disney's "The Princess and the Frog." He is a charming and carefree prince from the fictional kingdom of Maldonia who is transformed into a frog by a voodoo magician. Naveen learns important lessons about love and responsibility throughout the film.
He's from Maldonia, which is non existent, but he is most likely branched from a European country. Macedonia is southeastern Europe and sounds a lot like the fictional country that he is from, so maybe they based it upon that. In my opinion he's Romanian or Italian ( something of that sort).
As far as I see, it's apparently "Ashe Danza" , which appears to be the language of the made up country of Maldonia that he hails from, and vaguely seems to be a phrase meaning "Awesome" or "Wow"
The name of the male frog is Prince Naveen and the name of the female frog is Tiana who gets turned into a frog.
