Where is a good psychic type Pokemon in Fire Red Version?

The best is Kadabra, catch an Abra north or Cerulean City. If you can trade it to another person and trade back it will evolve into Alakazam which is even better.

There are super strong Kadabras on Cerulean Cave (level 65-67) Good luck finding!

Trade ralts from Pokemon emerald, Sapphire, or ruby.

Since you can't do that until after you beat the game, I would suggest training an Abra.

You can find abra on route: 24 and 25 but it is fairly uncommon (15%) on both routes. You can also buy it in Rocket game Corner in Celadon city for 180 coins.

Psychic beats only the Poison type however since Psychic types tend to have high special attack where Poison types have low special defense this is why Psychic types are so good.
