In platinum you first have to beat the game. Then go to the end of victory road(The side where the Pokemon league is). Go into the victory road and travel across the bridge; you will see a cave entrance at the right of your screen. Once you have gone into this cave you willteam up with Marley. Battle your way out of the cave and you will find yourself on route 224, in the patch of grass you will find oddish. However the time must be night in the game (8pm-4am). Hope this helped.
