You have to have Wi-fi connection. And when you go there you have to have more than 1 Pokemon in your party.

∙ 12y agobefore you start the game go to the main menu and it will say Nintendo wi-fi conecction settings.then hit connection 1 2 or 3 .after hitting that u have to hit search for acess point.
