Just one Disneyland, but there are other Disney theme parks (for example: California Adventures, Disney World) Improved Answer: Although they are not all officially named "Disneyland", there are 5 Disney theme parks worldwide...California, Florida, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Paris.

You will have to either drive/rent a car or take a taxi or bus to get there. There is no monorail station that will take you from Universal Studios to Walt Disney World because Universal Studios is not related to Disney World. --- Depending on where you're staying, if it's a Disney property/resort, they might provide a shuttle to and from Universal. I stayed at Shades of Green in 2014 & there was one bus that went to Universal. There was only one that left at 9 & returned at 6 if I recall so if you missed it you were out of luck.
There is no definite answer to your questions. Reason why is because all hotels are different. They offer different services and the location is also different. The recommended hotels are One and Only Palmilla Resort, The Westin Resort or any of the Pueblo Bonito Resorts. This seems to have some of the best reviews and some of the best feedback as a local. Let me know if you plan to visit. I might be able to help you with your reservation.
it might because Disney world is kinda like a community but San Francisco is a large city

If by Theme Parks, you mean, say, Disney's Animal Kingdom and EPCOT, then yes. It is extremely possible and even encouraged through the Park-Hopper tickets. For a little extra, you are given the ability to enter and exit all of the parks in the same resort (Disneyland, Disney World, etc.) On the other hand, if you mean visiting Disneyland and Disney World in the same day... that might be a little trickier, but it's possible.
