Where to buy a pokedex in US?

You can find shiny Pokemon in the places where Pokemon come out. Its is not a place that's the problem, it's that Shiny and Dark Pokemon are EXTREMELY hard to get. it's like 1/3000+% chance you'll find a shiny or dark Pokemon. Good luck searching for one

Pokemon ShinyGold is not an official version; it is a ROM hack made by Zel. You probably don't want to purchase it, but if you download the Visual Boy Advance you can play it on your computer. Target has toy ones. Try a cosplay shop. There used to be a store in NYC called Pokemon center where you could get one. Also try oaks house In pallet town he's giving the things away
