Articuno= Ice Flying
Special ability= Snow warning whips up a snow storm
Zapdos= Electric Flying
Special ability= If the foes Pokemon made contact with Zapdos it would paralyze it.
Moltres= Fire Flying
Special ability= If the foes Pokemon makes contact with Moltres it leaves it with a burn.
So really it depends what you want. Apart from that they're very hard to capture as they flee in their first turn. I tried using a quick ball but it didnt work. So basically you're stuffed.

∙ 10y agoIt depends on which stat you're looking at, except for HP, in which case the base is 90 for all three. Their other base stats are as follows:
Articuno
Attack: 85
Defense: 100
Special Attack: 95
Special Defense: 125
Speed: 85
Zapdos
Attack: 90
Defense: 85
Special Attack: 125
Special Defense: 90
Speed: 100
Moltres
Attack: 100
Defense: 90
Special Attack: 125
Special Defense: 85
Speed: 90
So, Articuno is strongest defensively, Zapdos is fastest, and Moltres is strongest offensively.
Or, if you're looking at weaknesses and resistances, all three are resistant to Bug and Grass and immune to Ground. Aside from that...
Articuno is weak to Fire, Electric, and Steel, and very weak against Rock.
Zapdos is resistant to Fighting, Flying, and Steel, and weak to Rock and Ice.
Moltres is resistant to Fire, Fighting, Steel, and Fairy, weak to Water and Electric, and very weak to Rock.
So, Moltres has the most resistances (as of Generation VI), and Articuno has the most weaknesses.
