Sceptile has a capability of 1-hit KO-ing enemies fast, due to a high offense stat and high Speed. Teach it more Sp.Atk than Atk moves, and train its Sp. Atk and Def EVs, then Sceptile will one of the best Pokémon around with all-round good stats, meaning that it won't get KO'ed very easily but can KO others sooner.
Blaziken has high offense over low defense stats, but due to its average speed, a faster Pokémon with a high offense stat can easily 1-hit KO Blaziken. You can EV-train either or both of its defense stats, but that allows enemies an advantage who can EV train their offenses to be higher than Blaziken's. Choose Blaziken if you prefer to gamble all-or-nothing, since Blaziken is the kind of Pokémon that either KOs first or gets KO'ed first.
Swampert's good defenses and high Atk makes it a very good all-round Pokémon, since it can KO a faster enemy before it gets KO'ed, more easily than Blaziken can. Most Pokémon would probably take at least 3 turns to KO a defense-trained Swampert, except for Grass-types, unless if Swampert can use Ice Beam. This means that you may also want to train its Sp.Atk.
Blaziken is best for short-term battles, where you don't have to win many times, or else your luck may change so that Blaziken gets 1-hit KO'ed by a faster Pokémon. Don't use it for the Battle Frontier unless you max its Speed and raise either Atk or Sp.Atk, while deciding whether to train either or both of its defenses.
Sceptile is probably 2nd best for battling at the Battle Frontier, since it can probably win you many battles until it meets a faster Pokémon with high Atk. If you EV train its Defense, you should also EV train Atk or Sp. Atk to try to even the odds.
Swampert is the best for the Battle Frontier, since it has good defenses that should be trained just a little bit just enough to make it very tough to beat, then you can train its Atk to make 1-hit KO's very easy for Swampert.
sceptile
there isn't a "best" Pokemon team but mine is: Blaziken lv76, charizard lv72, alakazam lv70, electivire lv73, sceptile lv72 and my last Pokemon is a swampert lv74 =[)
good Pokemon but lvl needs uping i think you should replace dragonite with a garchomp. garchomps are one of the best Pokemon you can get in platinum.
The best Pokemon team on emerald that you can have(in my opinion) is all the starters, salamence, manectric, and gardevoir. but if you cant get all the starters than here are some other good ones: blaziken breloom wailord skarmory manectric gardevoir ....or.... sceptile torkoal wailord skarmory manectric gallade ....or.... swampert breloom torkoal skarmory manectric gallade ...............i hope this was a big help, these teams have worked great for me and i hope they work great for you too! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can't get Gallade in Pokemon Emerald.
Treeko is the best as team aqau use water type pokemons i agree with you but i dont agree with you i think torchic is the best because if you find a shroomish or a lotad you can take out the marshtomp/swampert faster but you can also flop that around if you choose treeko try to get a lotad and teach it water moves hope this helps anyone
The best water Pokemon in Pokemon emerald I believe is Kyogre. kyogre is probably the stongest but i prefer a swampert if you don't like legenderies
the best team is blaziken kyogre rayquaza altaria latias and pikachu.that is for the ones who chose torchic. sceptile same as other exept latias use regiice that is the treeko squad. and last but not least swampert kyogre registeel lucildlo kadabra/alakazam pikachu. sceptile blaziken and swampert only make difference because types is my opinion like 1-blaziken 2-sceptile/swampert
I suggest Sceptile(Treecko) because it can Aerial Ace Blaziken(Torchic) and Leaf Blade Swampert(Mudkip). Sceptile, Blaziken and Swampert are third evolutions so Sceptile will be Treecko. Also, most of the trainers around Hoen (not including the gym leaders) carry water, rock, and other Pokemon that are weak against Treeko

Treeko(Sceptile) is the WORST!! starter in Emerald, because its weak and only learns 1 good move. Torchic(Blaziken) is very fast and strong and good for fighting the Pokemon league, and Mudkip(Swampert) is sorta slow but really strong. Grovyle is really bad. Sceptile is a little faster than faster Blaziken but so much weaker. Sceptile has low Defense, but the foe can't attack at all if Sceptile KO's the foe with 1 Leaf Blade(his only good move but it wont KO with 1). Treecko, Grovyle, and Sceptile have one type(which makes them even worse!), you can have 5 other Pokemon in your party to cover Sceptile's type-disadvantages. Swampert's and Blaziken's dual-types make them vulnerable to more types(which makes them better). you don't get 2 STAB types for Sceptile as you would for Swampert and Blaziken, you need a second STAB type. Overall I like Mudkip, then Torchic and then Treeko but Treeko is definitely the worst
that is an opinion, but i think blaziken has more power than sceptile.
Team 1 are INFERNAPE,EMPOLEON,TORTERRA. Team 2 is ENTEI,SUICUNE,RAIKU,MOLTRES,ARTICUNO,and ZAPDOS. Team 3 is charizard, blastoise, venusuar, blaziken, swampert, and sceptile
swampert or blaziken are the best type to beat gyms or Pokemon league
it evolves at 16 and into blaziken at 36 but sceptile is better but doesent matter blaziken is strong. heck yay blaze is the best
Blaziken and empoleon Blaziken lava plume overheat close combat
Everyone has a different opinion according to their favorite style. Sceptile has high Speed and Sp.Atk but low Def and Sp.Def. It has average HP and Atk. Blaziken has high Atk and Sp.Atk. It has average HP, Defense, Speed, and Sp.Def. Swampert has high HP and Atk but low Speed. It has average Defense, Sp.Atk, and Sp.Def. You'd probably want Sceptile or Blaziken, because of their high Sp.Atk. That way, if your starter's battling a Pokemon like Pikachu, its Static ability won't affect your Pokemon if you use a Sp.Atk move. Actually Mudkip/Swampert would be best for a first time player cause you will have the advantage in a lot of the gyms. (Against Flannery, Watson, Tate and Liza.) But if you do this I suggest you catch a flying type like Swellow or Altaria cause Swampert is very weak against grass types.
They're all really useful when they evolve, so it's just personal preference. Treeko evolves into Sceptile which is only a Grass type, Mudkip evolves into Swampert which is Water/Ground and Torchic evolves into Blaziken which is Fire/Fighting, so just choose the one you'd rather have.
a swampert, lombre, or sceptile. if you don't have one then use a water or grass type
