It all depends on what you're looking for in your team. If you're looking for a powerhouse, Garchomp is the way to go. If you're looking for a decent movepool and an annoyer, Flygon is the way to go. However with Garchomp, there's a very slim chance that you'll use it right. You have to teach him just the right moves, train him just the right way so he can be effective. Everyone I've seen who uses Garchomp fails to understand that filling him up with Dragon Rush, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, and Sky Attack doesn't do any bit of good. He has to have some sort of stat-boosting move so he can be REALLY effective.
