What is the reasons for Marvel and especially sony pictures rebooting spider-man and Fantastic Four is it for more money not happy with the franchise?
First off, Just to make this clear Spider-Man is owned by Sony Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk are owned by Disney Sony Pictures are rebooting the Spider-Man series because Sam Raimi (Director of the 2002-2007 Trilogy) was taking too long to make Spider-Man 4 as he kept asking the screenwriter for rewrites because he wasn't happy with the script. Meanwhile, Disney bought the rights to MARVEL, after doing this they decided to try and buy Spider-Man from Sony. So because Sam Raimi was taking too long MARVEL told Sony that they would have to make a Spider-Man movie within the next couple of years or they would have the rights. So Sony decided to cancel Spider-Man 4 and get rid of the cast/crew and start fresh from the very beginning but with ''The Untold Story''. By the way, the script for the potential Spider-Man 4 was a disaster. The villians were Vulture and Vultress and where going to be played by John Malcovich and Anne Hathaway. I believe that 20th Century Fox are rebooting the Fantastic Four: Movie series because the previous series recieve very negative reviews by critics and fans. I hope this has helped you understand
