Which castle are used in Harry Potter?

There were a couple. I think one was alnwick castle, mainly the scenes within the castle but the extirior, for example a small clearing in the grounds that leads into the castle is a place you can see if you visit alnwick castle in north east england. Banburugh castle could be one too. Not quite sure. I apoligize if that did not help. :)

Hogwarts has been filmed at many different places. Many of the interiors are sets at Leavesden Studios. Location shooting has been done at various castles and cathedrals throughout the U.K. When you see the whole of Hogwarts from a distance, it's either a model or CGI.

The exterior of the castle in Harry Potter was Alnwick Castle, home of the Duke of Northumberland. It was used in all the Harry Potter films for both interior and exterior shots.
