It was maybe just an idea that occurred to her from nowhere. But, as to where she got the name.... well the mirror shows a person's deepest desires... now turn around the word 'Erised'. get it? :-D
Harry received the cloak in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, not the Chamber of Secrets. It was given to him by Albus Dumbledore who had borrowed it from James Potter. The cloak was in Dumbledore's possession at the time of the Potter's death and so he returned it to Harry.

We don't know what he got for his first Christmas. Probably not much given that he wasn't even five months old.If you mean his first Christmas at Hogwarts please see related questions.

I'm assuming you're referring to the Tale of the Three Brothers in Tales of Beedle the Bard. It is about 3 brothers who cheated Death and Death rewarded them each. The first and second brother got killed by Death himself, as they boasted about their reward(The Elder Wand and the Resurrection Stone). But the third and youngest brother, who had the Invisibility Cloak, escaped Death. He then gave the Invisibility Cloak to his son. These three items make the Deathly Hallows and if any person had all three at once, the person is deemed Master of Death.

Yes. If you look on the Internet and search Harry Potter family tree/geneology, you should be able to find a family tree that shows you that Harry is a great descendant of one of the Peverells. The one that got the cloak.

Not that we're aware, but it's not completely impossible because a large portion of the wizarding world is interbred and therefore related, since the population is so low. For instance, Harry shares blood with Malfoy, Sirius, and the Weasleys, as well as (very distantly) Tom Riddle/Voldemort (both are descended from two of the brothers in 'The Tale of Three Brothers', since the ring/stone and invisibility cloak are passed down as heirlooms through the Gaunt and Potter families.
Mrs Weasley sent Harry Potter a hand knitted jumper and fudge. Ron had told her that Harry wasn't expecting many gifts and she decided to make him a jumper, like the ones she made for her sons every year.
