After defeating Champion Cynthia in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, you can go to Snowpoint City and sail to the Fight Area where you can go see the Battle Park/Battle Frontier. There are extra routes you can visit with many new Pokemon you can capture for your National Dex, assuming you have completed the Sinnoh Dex for Professor Rowan. There are three extra areas you can unlock here. The Survival Area, where it has the Pokemon Center and Pokemon Mart and also has routes connected to it with different Pokemon. The Resort Area is where you can go to the expensive villa on the north-east side of the location. You can only access it if your Pokemon has at least 10 different ribbons. The last place of interest is Stark Mountain, which is the home of the nasty Fire/Steel-type legendary Pokemon, Heatran. Stark Mountain can be visited at the north most direction on the map. Heatran can be unlocked on the second visit after talking to Buck's grandfather. (Buck is a new "Rival" you'll meet towards the beginning of your arrival in the Battle Zone)
