I suppose you mean "Lupin". That would be Professor Remus Lupin.
Fenrir Graybeck
No professor lupin is not bad. He became a werewolf as a child and lived through the agony of it his whole life. His friends at Hogwarts helped him by becoming animagi. People that can turn into animals and back again. Lupin helped Harry and fought with him in all the battles of the Harry Potter series.
Remus Lupin asked Harry Potter, "Harry, the time for pretending is over. Would you consider coming with us?" This is when he invited Harry to join him, Ron, and Hermione in their mission to defeat Voldemort.
Remus Lupin taught Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Remus Lupin makes Harry Potter's godfather because he is one of Harry's father James Potter's closest friends and feels a responsibility to protect and care for Harry after James and Lily Potter are killed by Voldemort. Lupin steps in as a father figure for Harry, guiding and supporting him throughout his years at Hogwarts.

He is a werewolf, and that he was best friends with Sirius Black and Harry's dad (James Potter).
Remus Lupin was a member of Gryffindor house during his time at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter series.
The one I think of is Nymphadora Tonks, Auror, wife to Remus Lupin, mother of Teddy Lupin (Harry's godson), and a death in the Battle of Hogwarts.
Yes. *****************Spoilers************ Before the end of the book, she had baby Teddy (blue haired!!) with Lupin as the father. Shortly afterward, both Tonks and Lupin are killed in the final battle vs Voldemort etc in the Hogwarts Castle
