It depends on how long and far you want to hike and the level of difficulty you are looking for. Laurel Falls is a much shorter and easier hike with a 2.6 mile round trip and a moderate level of difficulty. Ramsey Cascades is a strenuous 8 mile hike. Both end in beautiful waterfalls but in my opinion Ramsey Cascades is by far the more impressive (and after a long, hard hike much more rewarding).

If you are an experienced hiker I would recommend Ramsey Cascades, especially in the winter. While snow makes conditions tougher towards the peak, the falls will be half frozen and completely breathtaking.
