Disney dodged certain countries in his live-action Travelogues. Films were carefully edited to remove churches. Only one Disney Movie was set in Italy- the Escapade in Florence, which starred Annette Funicello, the only Italian actress in the Disney stable. He also had a grudge against Manhattan.
