Why was Ronald Reagan known as the great communicator?

He got with the soviets and convinvced them to tear down the Berlin Wall. That is why he is a great communicator no more of was a great communicater. Obviously, you are too young to remember. On November 9th of 19089, the Berlin wall was opened from the East side, and East Germans began crossing freely without any intervention from the Communist side, AND no help from the Democratic side. The media was alerted, and Ronald Reagan was awoken to learn about it the same way we all did- on CNN. There was no agreement nor any meeting nor any event which precludud this event, other than the guards on the other side simply refused to show up for work. We never fired a shot, or launched a missile. Their economy had fallen apart just as had been predicted by JFK, long before Reagan took office. As for the nickname, "the Great Communicator", there was never, ever, any instance, in any article, periodical, or newscast, in which he was called that, until he, in his own speech, declared "I have been called the Great Communicator...". As soon as he said that, every journalist in the world looked at each other and said, "who called him that?"
