• Fred Weasley is killed by a falling wall. The wall may have fallen because of Augustus Rockwood's spell.

• Vincent Crabbe set a fire deadly fire and was unable to escape or stop it. Due to the actor being charged with possession of drugs, in the film Gregory Goyle will take this place instead.

• Remus Lupin is killed by Antonin Dolohov.
