while it is implied, like ALOT i think it's more over the fact that Kari is Tai's little sister then anything about Kari herself as was shown when they were facing off against malomyotismon in the world of dreams becoming reality he didn't have anything shown about Kari as a fantasy and mainly only wanted to see Malomyotismon defeated. thus the crush he developed on Kari may be more due to the fact that he looks up to Tai as a leader and a great soccer player and roll model wishing that Tai could be his older brother because of how great a person he was. thus when he found out that Tai had a little sister he fell in love more so being in love with the fact that there was a chance he could actually have Tai as his older brother. thus the crush was developed around Tai becoming Davis' older brother more then anything Kari said or did to have Davis after her.

It's unknown. meaning she doesn't. Kari has a history with TK and it may be implied by various dubs of the show but the truth is it's just that implied as in not fact. she doesn't really have a preference when it comes to boys. TK is the closest to her but for fear of losing their incredible friendship neither one tried to make their relationship more then it is. Davis may have been crushing on Kari but i think it's more because of Tai then Kari herself. Davis looks up to Tai as a leader and a great soccer player and may have wanted to be able to have Tai as an older brother because of this when he found out Tai had a little sister about his age Davis instantly developed a crush on her more so out of the idea that he could have tai as a brother then anything Kari related.
