The little brother of the Edward elric in Fullmetal alchemist. Alphonse is 1 year younger than Edwardand it is safe to say the relationship between them is very strong. Ed and Al failed to reserect theier dead mother and as a result Ed looses his leg, and Al looses his entire body, Ed sacrafices his right arm to attatch his brother's sole to a suit of armour. After they comit the taboo they go on a quest to find the legonday pholosopher's stone to restore their bodies. Weather it happens in the end, well you'll just have to watch the anime (it's the best anime ever!)
