Who is Cindy vortex?

Cindy Vortex is a main character in the kid's show 'Jimmy Neutron'. She appears in most of the episodes and is known for having a quite harsh attitude and a big mouth, as well as a great pride. She can't deal with the fact, that she's suddenly only the second smartest kid in town after Jimmy moved to Retroville and therefore often picks on him in publicy, harasses him, calls him names and begrudges every single award or praise he receives. It isn't hard to miss that the two of them share a deep rivalry, in which they can get a tad too caught up at times. Nonetheless, there are times they actually are able to work together (although quite reluctantly) and sometimes Cindy shows far more sense or awareness than Jimmy does. Her nasty comments also help sometimes to get Jimmy back to reality when he's getting too caught up in his large ego. Cindy has blonde hair which is always (except for one episode) pulled up in a ponytail and green eyes. In the show her usual outfit consists of a neckholder-top with three stripes of different shades of green and khaki 7/8 pants. She is pretty talented in arts and sports (practicing a few Martial Arts) and also has an impressive selling-skill. In the beginning of the show, she used to kiss up to the teacher quite frequently, but that trait wasn't as present in the later parts of the show. Her best friend is Libby Folfax, who also functions as Cindy's 'voice of conscience'. The two almost always hang out together and like to make fun of Jimmy and his two friends. On the parents' side, her mother is more often shown than her father, a quite snobby and ambitious woman with black hair, who seems to support her daughter's competition with Jimmy. However, she is hardly considerable the loving type of mother. It is shown at some points, that Cindy is afraid of mimes. Although she seems like a pretty strong character througout all the show, there are times she is showing fear or weakness and make it seem she does have quite a soft and dreamy side to all her brashness. But often these traits are overshadowed by her pride and abnormal ambition to become successful no matter what it takes. The show also depicts her as a pretty jealous type. She gets into a catfight once, and is barely able to contain her jealousy everytime her object of (unvoluntary) affection swoons over another girl. Said object of affection surprisingly happens to be no other but her self-declared nemesis Jimmy Neutron, a fact she denies not only to others but also to herself. The teasing and harassing she constantly puts him through, slowly become a way to cover up her truer feelings for him as the show progresses. In the last season she seems to come on terms with her affections and begins to push their relationship from pure rivalry into another direction. However, her ways to do so are not always accurate, such as it drives her once into deceiving the whole gang of her friends. (she didn't mean to harm them though). Over all, her teasing becomes much more harmless though, and she does let her guard almost completely down at certain points. Cindy Vortex is a rather complicate character with a lot of flaws and faults, but nonetheless a driving force in the show. It is unclear what the future holds for her (as she is very talented in several subjects), but in a bad version of it, she gets married to Jimmy and has to worry about her mother's foot hygiene all day.
