Henry Park, recently passed, was a radical activist that had been involved with the Students for a Democratic Society when he started the Radical Academics, later evolving into the Maoist Internationalist Movement (MIM). Parks is probably best known as a polemicist and antagonist to the Revolutionary Communist Party -- USA charging the RCP was revisionist and homophobic, among other things. Parks recently died leaving a leadership vacuum within MIM rendering the organization moribund. MIM now restricts its activities to the politicization of the U.S. prison population.
