Vinnie Langdon is an American Actor.
Vinnie was introduced to acting at a young age in elementary school playing diverse roles in theater and musicals.
When Vinnie was 14 years-old, he began producing his own short independent films which have won awards in Film Festivals.
In 2004 he joined his hometown's public access community television station where he hosted & produced his self-titled television program called The Vinnie Langdon Show(2004-2010.) The television program was lso known as the VLS, his television show was best known as getting exclusive interviews on U.S. tours with bands from Paramore, Cobra Starship, Megadeth, Plain White T's, Anthrax, Gym Class Heroes, Jonas brothers to showcasing local artists, too. The Vinnie Langdon Show was broadcasted in Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, and Sacramento County, California to over 501,000 viewers daily and the episodes were streamed on a variety of websites including Current TV, Stickam, Livestream, Mogulus, featured on YouTube and U-Stream.
Vinnie has acted not only in Theater but also had roles in Film, Television, National TV Commercials and Web Shows, too!
In 2004, he won "Best Original Screenplay" at the Buckingham International Film Festival for his first short film called, "Magic Sunglasses." The following year he won "Best Picture" for a film called "Permission" which was successful not only in Buckingham's Film Festival but also did very well in the Idaho Panhandle Film Festival, winning the "Best Comedy Film Award." "Permission" also was a Selected Entry for the Pacific Edge International Film Festival. In Vinnie's short films not only is he credited as an actor but also the Writer/Director/Producer too.
He attended Solano Community College for Theater Arts & Music.
In 2007, rock band Ghost in The Flesh (formerly The Dead Celebrities) asked Vinnie to direct their first music video for KWOD 106.5 Summer Buzz Contest. With Vinnie's filming and editing, the band won Best Music Video to open up for electronica band Shiny Toy Guns.
Vinnie is a strong supporter of CALSTAR which is a rescue air ambulance based in Northern California. Vinnie had open-heart surgery and needed transportation from one hospital to another one to under go heart surgery when he was a Baby. Vinnie appeared as a guest in a documentary for CALSTAR in 2007. He also has helped raise over $50,000 for Children's Hospital in charity Radiothon events in February 2005.
Vinnie has taught International Exchange Students from China in his hometown in from 2008-2010 as an Acting Instructor to Jr. High School students.
December, 12th, 2009, he was a correspondent/host for an event and web-cast of American Christmas, which was a live web-cast featuring former American Idol finalists.
On April 27th, 2010, Vinnie won the Up-And-Comer Actor Award in the Sacramento International Film Festival.
