Charizard would beat Venusaur in a fight because he is fire type so that gives him the edge. Charizard also has a slight advantage in overall stats, plus fire type pokemon have less weaknesses than grass type.

∙ 12y agoI think they both have their own talents as typhlosion has extreamly strong moves and in my opinion stronger then charizard although charizard has flying and fire where as typhlosion is only fire.
I would go for charizard because typhlosion sucks

∙ 13y agoAccording to the base stats of the two Pokemon, Dragonite has a higher combined total of base stats than Charizard, subsequently making Dragonite the better Pokemon in most situations.
Though, if you are in an ice gym, you would want Charizard, and so forth with type match-ups.

∙ 11y agoI say Charizard is better as it has awesome moves. Not that Dragonite doesn't but still I prefer Charizard. I love Charizard's overheat and seismic toss.
