In persepective Transformers beets GI Joe 'A Real Amiracan Hero' by much in my opinion and in sales. You see GI Joe had a total of about 231 episodes as to Transformers g1 having a total of about 99 episodes. But Transformer G1 was continued in Japan. With Transformers 4 new series that were added to the original G1 Transformers series Transformer had a total of about 250 episodes.
The 4 series Headmaster, Super God Master Force, Victory, and zone were not aired in the USA due to budget cuts most likely from Hasbro's 231 episodes of GI Joe. Also the Transformer toyline G1 original was much more massive then GI Joe, sold more, and in my opinion were funer. Any way go to the store see GiJoe toys compared to Transformers. I meen GI joe is just stiff peises of Diecast. But Transformers are transformable and are 2 toys in 1
Transformers had about 1200 toys.
