There is no 'King Aram' in the Bible. There are various Kings of Aram. In the line of Shem, Aram was a son in Genesis 10 - Table of Nations. The ancient area called Aram was in modern day Jordan, so they would be Semitic peoples and look like those in the Middle East today. It is said that the nation-state of Armenia is named after an 'Aram, son of Harma.'
Arameans: Descendants of Aram, the son of Shem, whose children settled the region of Syria and called it by the name Aram.
"Syria" is a translation of the Hebrew "Aram", and refers to a Semitic tribe in Mesopotamia. It shouldn't be confused with "Assyria", a translation of the Hebrew "Asshur". Both Aram and Asshur were sons of Shem, a son of Noah.
In Matthew 1:4 and Luke 3:33, Aminadab is the son of Aram, and the father of Naasson.
