Well, that isn't an easy question. In the whole first series Kronos is the evil that wants to destroy Olympus. In the titans curse the Manticore is the monster that is at the school where they find Nico and Bianca. They also have to fight Luke who works for Kronos throughout the book and then there is Atlas, or The General as he goes by who they fight at the end of the book and make him retake the sky from Artemis's shoulders.

Titan's are parents of the God's, the '2nd' generation of Godly beings in Greek Mythology said to be evil. Its vaguely clear what a curse is. The Titan specified is Atlas whom has the curse of holding the sky on his shoulders. Ironic right? I hoped I cleared this up for you!
