Yes, Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) is tired of the gangs that have taken over his neighborhood. At the end of the movie he looks like he is about to confront the gang at their house. He is greeted with 5-7 guns being pointed at him. He looks like he would pull out a gun himself which made the gang shoot him several times. He outsmarted them, however, by pulling out his lighter as a non-threatening item causing the members of the gang to go to jail as a result of their actions.
