In director Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins (2005), Joe Chill remains the murderer.
However, in director Tim Burton's Batman (1989), the mugger who kills them turns out to be the infamous Joker.
So many Batman movies have been made and more are to come, so we'll see who his parents' killer ends up being next time =P
