The Lion Turtle a few episodes before "Sozin's Comet". When Aang asks him for advice he tells him; "The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginningless time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light."
With this, Aang was able to understand how to defeat the Fire Lord without ending his life.
Go into the avatar state with the wisdom of 1000 avatars that know all 4 elements and alos know how to energy bend not offical elememnt never called it in episode but energy bending is taking some1 bending abilite away like anng did to phonenix king ozia type in wiki/avatar
Yes! After an epic duel in Sozin's Comet/Avatar Aang, Aang (in the Avatar state) pins Ozai to the ground using earth bending. Instead of killing him, though, he uses energy bending to take away Ozai's firebending. Later, we see Ozai imprisoned in a Fire nation cell.
Obviously, the bending arts in Avatar: The Last Airbender is completely fictional, but the movements used to bend the elements are based on several Chinese martial arts. Waterbending is based on tai chi, a martial art that features slow movements and elegant forms that evoke the feel of flowing water. dude even though it may be fake you should at least tell to master waterbending though you do have to know alot of tai chi. I'f you learn to control the energy inside you than you will move on to move the energy around you such as water, earth, fire, and air so all of the four elements try and find a really good Tia chi class online and you will then be able to waterbend when you have finished this class completely
You can't become a waterbender in one day,It take many day. First you have to learn how to foce your chi.By meditation mostley every day. And you must have a foce mind and don't let your emotion get in the way because if it dose then you mite lose your contral to bend, And if you relley wont to learn how to become a great bender go to www.4-element/tribe.com when you go to this site you will meet lot of people if you sign up, You will learn how to triger your chi and become a great WATERBENDER , EARTHBENDEDER , FIREBENDER , and AIRBENDER:)
Avatar Aang gets severely wounded in the finale of season two, "The Crossroads of Destiny." The wound not only kills Aang's physical body, (which is restored by Katara's Spirit Waters) but also serves to completely block the Avatar state within him until (Spoilers) the Lion Turtle teaches him to command energy itself during Sozin's comet in the series finale.
A bend that the only the avatar can use

In the new series, Avatar: The Legend of Korra, Aang and Katara have a son named Tenzin who teaches Korra, the Avatar after Aang, how to master airbending and guides her towards mastering the Avatar state. Avatar: The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after Avatar: The Last Airbender. The series is supposed to come out in 2012. Also, Ursa, Zuko's mother, is the granddaughter of Avatar Roku. Therefore The Avatar can have children. Even if Guru Pathik told Aang to let go of earthly attachments in the episode the guru, the Avatar could still control the Avatar state after making relationships as long as he/she has opened the Cosmic Chakra that bring pure cosmic energy to the Avatar.
It's called " The End of Avatar", produced by the track team, Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn.
Bending energy, or Chibending, is a lost art practiced by no one and kept secret by the Lion Turtles. That said, it has no symbol in the way the four elements do. However, if you look at the four elemental symbols, (not to be confused with the emblems of the nations that practice each style) you notice that each contains a spiral shape. The spiral represents chi, or spiritual energy. If you were to symbolize Chibending, it would most likely be a simple, unadorned spiral, representing the common denominator of all four elements.
See Avatar: The Last Airbender. There are recorded accounts of many highly spiritual masters of the East who could manipulate matter and energy in many different ways.
Yes, Until you stop bending it back and it becomes potential energy.
He doesn't exactly energy bend. What he uses to take bending away is an advanced form of chi-blocking. If he were to use energybending, then every time he takes someone's bending, there would be light radiating from both Amon and the effected bender. What I mean as in 'advanced form', he most likely closes the most vital energy gates to bending (according to where he places his hands, it's most likely in the cerebral area). Energy gates were first explained in the last Avatar series on the episode "The Guru". Guru Pathik gave a thorough explanation about energy gates and how they are blocked and opened. Since energy gates are just large, vital, chi pressure points, there just as vulnerable to chi blocking as all the other points in the body. Amon must of found the vital point to stop chi flow for a bender to bend. So he uses this knowledge to close the energy gates to stop bending. This means that there is a way to reopen the energy gates to return bending, but it would probably takes an advanced form of chi-releasing.

1. I think the plot should be finding zuko's mom and it turns out she's in a order of very protective moms and she is the leader and a few new people are introduced being related to past avatars and toph's mom could be in it. 2. Aang learns a way to bring back the dead in a dream. It is life bending similar to energy bending as it is ancient and very few people other than avatars can do it only people the avatar choses except you fill the body with sand and make your fingers look like a heart and have your "hand heart" above where your heart should be and hold your head up not to mention Sokka could secretly be a life bender and he teaches that to Aang and they use the technique to bring back the air nomads that were killed in sozins raid of destruction and bring back katara's and sokkas mom kaya then the group will feel more joy then ever. *note this could be an another book 5,6,or 7 Life 3. There will be another series of the Avatar cartoon, but the writers and producers already said that the series Avatar: The last airbender is complete. So more than likely it will be another Avater series like, Avatar: Birth of the Avatar explaining the very first avatar or Avatar: Rise of the Airbenders. Either one would be very good because the writing staff is excellent and this is by far the best cartoon I've seen. Hopefully they use the same characters in whatever show they pick since the characters have already been developed so well. But I would also like to see a whole new cast of characters in a new series such as my idea of the Avatar:Birth of the Avatar which would explain the coming of the first avatar. Either way with the writing staff at Nick and the intriguing storylines and character development they have I'm positive it will be amazing. But nothing can beat the original Avatar: The last Airbender. Just food for thought, let me know what you think since the writers already confirmed that Avatar: the Last Airbender series came to an end at the end of the Book of Fire.
Technically, The last episode of Avatar the Last Airbender was about not killing. Through out the entire show, the goal was to stop the fire lord. Everyone thought that the only way to stop his was to kill him. Aang does not want to kill anybody, so the turtlelion shows Aang how to energy bend. In the end, Aang does not kill the Fire Lord, but just takes his bending away. So in a way, the last episode was about killing.
Mechanical energy is converted to heat.
