"From Russia With Love" starring Sean Connery
The first James Bond film to feature Sean Connery in the main role was 1962's Dr. No.
From Russia With Love (However, the films do not follow the order of the books, that have a loose chronology that advances and develops the character of Commander James Bond. The first book is "Casino Royale", not "Dr. No" as the film series starts. Recently, the film makers have returned Bond to the beginning with a new actor, and filmed the original story for "Casino Royale" and it's sequel "A Quantum of Solice". Coincidentally, ALL stories written by Ian Fleming have had their titles used for the movie series, and there are no more original titles available... so watch for either remakes or original concept movies now.)
Sean Connery played Agent 007 in seven Bond films between 1962 and 1983... - Dr. No (1962) - From Russia with Love (1963) - Goldfinger (1964) - Thunderball (1965) - You Only Live Twice (1967) - Diamonds are Forever (1971) - Never Say Never Again (1983) Connery is the best Bond. He's the real James Bond in my opinion. "Never Say Never Again" is not an official EON Production film.
Linda James of Love Unlimited married musician and producer Barry White. The duo had a significant professional relationship, as Linda James was a member of the Love Unlimited Orchestra, which was closely associated with Barry White's music. Their marriage was a reflection of their deep personal and professional bond in the music industry.
