I believe that Bilbo was first referred to as a burglar in chapter one of The Hobbit, when Bilbo has just shrieked in fright at the things that the dwarves were saying. While Bilbo was recovering from shock in the drawing room, Gloin states, "As soon as I clapped eyes on the little fellow bobbing and puffing on the mat, I had my doubts. He looks more like a grocer than a burglar!"

Smaug has never smelled anything like Bilbo and he cannot place it.
Though he is treated like royalty with the dwarves since the towns people believe they came to set peace to their old home, Bilbo isn't as happy as the dwarves are. He is afraid of the journey ahead with Smaug. Bilbo is also sick. (Page 198)
J.R.R. Tolkien, the author of the Hobbit, created Bilbo, an interesting character. At one point Bilbo lets out a horrible shriek and begins to shake like jelly because Thorin has said they might never return to his house.
Bilbo's job on the adventure was to act as the burglar, using his stealth and hobbit-like abilities to help the dwarves on their quest to reclaim their kingdom and treasure from the dragon Smaug.

He was not happy! He took off and attacked the dwarves on the Lonely Mountain and then stormed onto Lake Town and destroyed it, but was killed in the process.
He places a couple of runes. They can be seen in one of Tolkien's illustrations. They basically say that a burglar is looking for work.
Considering that he tries to kill and eat Bilbo in "The Hobbit" and hates Frodo and Sam merely because they are related to Bilbo, I'd say that Gollum doesn't like Bilbo.
Bilbo's door is round. It has a brass knob in the very center. It was recently painted green and looked fresh and new before Gandalf scratched runes into it.
Yes, the wizard(Gandalf) likes Bilbo very much. It is by the will of Gandalf that Bilbo comes along with the dwarves for the quest. His concern for Bilbo can be seen when all the dwarves come out from goblin's cave but Bilbo remains behind. Gandalf continues to visit Bilbo even after the end of dwarves quest.
We don't know. But all night he dreamed of his own house and wandered in his sleep into all his different rooms looking for something that he could not find nor remember what it looked like.
In Chapter 5 of "The Hobbit," Bilbo demonstrates personal growth by showing courage and resourcefulness. He takes the initiative to rescue the dwarves from the spiders in Mirkwood Forest despite feeling afraid and uncertain. This marks a turning point in his character development as he starts to embrace his adventurous side.

Life as a colonial grocer was really good. The grocer typically had a nice place to live, and was able to make money year round.
Frodo knows Gandalf because Gandalf was like Bilbo (Frodo's grand-uncle) guardian on Bilbo's adventures. Now, Frodo knows Gandalf through Bilbo.
