Why did the miss so many parts of the book in the moviw twilight?
I'm assuming it's because the movie had to be shortened, so they jsut used the parts that are the most important. I personally liked the book a lot better than the movie. I think that Robert Pattinson sounded like he was itallian or something, cause he was trying to have an American accent. His acting was pretty good though. I thought Peter Facinelli did a very good job of playing Carlisle :D ___ Yeah, it's difficult to translate the wealth of information made accessible by a book into a medium as potentially limited as cinema. It's especially difficult considering the added pressure from the fans, who don't want ANYTHING left out. But you have to be sympathetic to the fact that it's a lot to deal with, and keeping everything in would make for a four-hour (or longer) movie. Not that the series' biggest fans would care, ha ha.
