Col. William Stryker had a son, Jason, who used his powers for bad despite the teachings of one Charles Xavier. After he purposefully drove his mother to insanity induced suicide, William gave his own son a lobotomy and sought revenge on Xavier. Later he discovered that the fluid secreted from Jason's brain could be used as a mind controlling agent and turned him into Mutant 143.
