Al-Biladuri, full name Ahmad ibn Jabir al-Biladuri, was a notable Arab historian and geographer born around 820 CE. He is best known for his work "Futuh al-Buldan" (The Conquests of Countries), which details the early Islamic conquests and the expansion of the Muslim empire. His writings provide valuable insights into the administrative, social, and cultural aspects of the regions conquered by Muslims. Al-Biladuri's work is considered one of the earliest historical accounts of the Islamic conquests, making him an important figure in Islamic historiography.
