C-3PO and R2-D2 are sometimes mistaken for the only characters in all six films but Darth Vader is also in all six films. In The Phantom Menace he is Anakin Skywalker and that name continues until the near end of episode three The Revenge of the Sith where his name becomes Darth Vader.
The four characters that appeared in all six films are R2-D2 and C-3PO, Anakin and Obi-Wan.
Also, Yoda and the Emperor were in all but the original episode IV.

Yoda, a character from the Star Wars series, is attributed with saying "Do or do not, there is no try." This quote is from "The Empire Strikes Back," the second film in the original Star Wars trilogy.
In "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels" for the Wii, Darth Sidious is not a playable character that can be unlocked through normal gameplay or cheat codes. He only appears as a boss character in specific levels of the game.
Five of the six Star Wars films featured Tatooine. Only The Empire Strikes Back did not have any scenes from that planet.
