Who was the real owner of the elder wand before harry?

Albus Dumbledore owned it when he lived and when he died Lord Voldemort stole it from his tomb. However, Dumbledore was disarmed by Draco Malfoy shortly before his death, causing the wand to recognise Draco as it's master.

At Malfoy Manor, Harry over-powered Draco and stole his wand. This made Harry the master of the Elder wand even though Draco wasn't in possession of it.

The elder wand was previously owned by Gellert Grindelwald but Dumbledore won it when he defeated him in 1945.

Lord Voldemort mistakenly thought Severus Snape had won the wand (by killing Dumbledore) and so killed Snape in order to become its owner.

There are many gaps in the history of the Elder Wand.

The first owner was Antioch Peverell, who was murdered by an unknown person for the wand. The next known owner was Emeric the Evil, who was killed by Egbert the Egregious.

A century later, the wand was owned by Godelot, who was murdered by his son Hereward. Then there is another gap before the wand appears again with Barnabas Deverill, before another gap and the wand appears with Loxias. Either Arcus or Livius killed him and became the new master.

Several more gaps later, the wand ends up in the ownership of Gregorovitch, the famous wand maker who began attempting to replicate the wand before Gellert Grindelwald stole it from his workshop.

Grindelwald kept the wand until 1945, when he was defeated in a battle by Albus Dumbledore who remained the master until 1996, when it became Draco Malfoy's, and then finally Harry Potter's in 1997.

Harry returned the wand to Dumbledore's coffin. So long as Harry dies a natural death, he will be the last owner of the wand.
