Joe Harnell is actually incorrect as it was written by a man named Bob Wilson from Columbia, Louisiana. It was called Phuruskas theme as he named it after his cat. He wrote it and pitched it to some executives with CBS along with some other songs he had written. The execs turned him down and six months later he was watching the ending of the Incredible Hulk when the song started playing. He contacted the execs and they stated he did not write the song so he filed suit. What they did not realize was that he would mail his song back to himself without opening it which showed the date. When they got to court the judge opened the envelope with the song in it as he stated it was legal to do that. CBS immediately had a change of heart and awarded him 5,000. Not much for a song in a way.
