Peeta would be curious about Gale because Katniss of whom he likes spends a lot of time with Gale.
"All right" according to whom? It's not illegal, but don't blame me if people make fun of you for it.
At the conclusion of the chapter in "The Hunger Games," Katniss believes that Peeta Mellark has killed the tribute. She grapples with the emotional turmoil of realizing that survival may come at the cost of her humanity and the relationships she values. This moment deepens her internal conflict regarding trust and the complexities of their situation in the Games.
In "The Hunger Games," Katniss Everdeen receives several significant gifts throughout the series. Notably, she receives a mockingjay pin from Madge Undersee, the mayor's daughter, which becomes a symbol of rebellion. During the Games, she is gifted a tracker jacker nest by Haymitch Abernathy, who also provides her with alcohol and advice. Additionally, Peeta Mellark sends her bread from District 12, symbolizing their bond and support.
Gale designed a bomb which would go off once, then people would rush over to help the injured, and it would go off again. During the last day of the battle the rebels used this bomb but made it look like the Capitol were the ones who used it. A group of children were involved in the first attacks and the rebels sent in their own medics to help, one of whom was Primrose Everdeen, Katniss' sister. The second bomb then exploded killing Prim. As Gale was involved in the design of the bomb, Katniss wouldn't ever be able to be with him without being haunted by the fact that he may have killed her sister - and he certainly designed the bomb which did. Gale knows he has lost her because of this and accepts that any chance she had of loving him, is gone. Gale then goes to District 2, while Katniss is sent back to District 12.
