2. Sci-fi movies appeal mostly to men - older ones at that. When you add mysticism/magic (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter), vampires/romance (Twillight) or appeal to a youngsters (Harry Potter, Twilight, Star Wars), you widen the audience quite a bit, especially to women.
3. Alien, Terminator, Titanic were great preparation for James Cameron to create Avatar.

The plants form a nervous system like network across the planet and every living organism interacts with them through nerves in their hair to create a bonding between the creatures and the plants.

The 3 seasons tell a remarkable story of a young boy on his journey to save his world, his friends and the importance of friendship, and show the young kids maturing and becoming real characters, that have a special place in the hearts of fans everywhere.
