Why does Cato not have a weapon when he fights Katniss and Peeta at the end?

I don't really why. I suppose that he doesnt because when they made the boobie trap and Katniss blew i up all the weapons where on there. So maybey thats why he didnt have weapons. Or possibly he wasnt suspecting to see Peeta and Katniss so he came unarmed.

∙ 12y agoIn the games you are not aloud to use guns. It is to easy to kill people, you need to out smart the other tributes and use your skills to kill them. Also, it is more entertaining for the capitol to watch. and it is harder to survive.
