The Talismans (crystal hearts) are sacred objects that are hidden inside the purest hearts. Once all three Talismans are joined, it will form the Sacred Cup (Purity Chalice), which is the only hope to stop the Messiah of Silence (Sovereign of Silence) from destroying the Earth. Uranus and Neptune are willing to sacrifice the lives necessary, if it means saving the rest of the world from eternal silence.

If you mean the Talismans used to save the world from eternal silence... The first two Talismans are in the hearts of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. Sailor Neptune's is taken first while trying to save Haruka from Eudial, and it turns into a mirror. Then, Uranus realizes where the other one is, and in front of Sailor Moon, shoots herself and extracts her own heart crystal, which turns into a sword. The third Talisman is in possession of Sailor Pluto. We don't know for sure if it was from her own heart, but we can assume. She is the one that is in possession of it, the Garnet Orb.
