Because the writers don't write stories for them to evolve. So if you're upset..call the creators of Pokemon.
Ash's pikachu is lvl 50 due to the event. His pikachu isn't lvl 100 by now because the anime never makes any sense.
that isnt a real pokemon game.
no its not pikachu is better with a light ball hope this helps! oh yh why them why not get rayquaza or something elsewell i wanted an electric Pokemon for the pkmn master.this is my team: swampert, shelgon, gardevoir, pikachu, ninetales, metang.do you think i should replace something with gyaradosseen as i have access to one? i was just thinking that then i might have too many dragons. i also took ages finding a pikachu with lightball so that my pikachu could have volt tackle.yes it did help, thanks alot. but i saved the game before evolving my pikachu to raichu to see its stats and raichu's were alot better, but with pikachus sp.atk doubled with light ball i don't know what to do. any suggestions? thanks, ravinpenguin :D
Isnt it Littleroot town?
Yes, actually you can. In Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum you can use the Poke' Radar and chain them in the trophy garden after getting the National Pokedex. Chaining is when you use the PokeRadar to find the same species of Pokemon one after another. If you chain around 20 to 40 Pikachu you should be able to find a Shiny one. But if you run into a Pokemon that isn't Pikachu the Chain will break and you'll have to start all over again. Also, don't walk out of the grassy area that you're in, that will break the chain too. Make sure you have plenty of repels because if you run into a wild Pokemon not using the Pokeradar it will break the chain, even if it's the Pokemon you're looking for. You will know when you find a shiny Pokemon because the grass will shine twice instead of shaking. Going into battle with the shiny Pokemon will break your chain, so make sure you catch it or you'll have to do the whole thing over again. (this can be applied to ANY shiny Pokemon you are looking for that can be found in the wild)~RaichuGirlAnsweryou can't I never tried the whole "chain" thing, so I'm not so sure if it works, but from past experience, the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon is one in one million. but you can find them in any Pokemon game made after crystal version. and maybe you'll just get lucky like i did and while your going around Sinnoh (or whatever region your in) training your Pokemon, you'll find some shinnies for your team (or collection). so as far as i know, there is no "trick" you need to do to catch a shiny Pikachu (or any Pokemon for that matter), all you need to do is waste your life playing an old game when you could be playing the next Pokemon game in the series, or some kinda other game like Halo or Call of Duty.
