While Annabeth is still weak, Percy gets very worried for her and holds her hand. When the battle with Kronos is over, all the demigods return to Camp Half-Blood. After dinner, Annabeth and Percy kiss. Clarisse and the rest of the camp are eavesdropping and see them kissing. They carry them on their shoulders to the lake. Well Percy, being the son of Poseidon, makes and underwater bubble and they share an underwater kiss. The end.

Annabeth doesn't die in book 5 Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Annabeth saves Percy's life by getting stabbed in the stomach but doesn't die.
