The concept is that cryogenic people don't need to eat (although they require some kind of nutrition, it's not as much as would otherwise be required), they don't age much (because their metabolism is slowed down), they don't occupy much space, they don't get bored travelling for decades or centuries, they don't reproduce, they need minimal air, they don't need to be kept warm or clothed, and they don't produce a lot of waste. It's highly efficient.
It's an intergalactic space ship so yes it should. :)
In Gene Roddenberry's original Star Trek pitch, the starship is described as a "United Space Ship."Also, in the original pilot "The Cage," the enterprise is refered to as the "United Space Ship Enterprise." Captain Kirk also refers to the ship as such in the episode "Elaan of Troyius," as does Dr. McCoy in the episode "Space Seed." Both are episodes of Star Trek (TOS).

Cryogenics system is used Liquified Fuel which is maintain very ver low temperature.
Nitrogen is the element that is commonly used in fertilizers, explosives, and cryogenics. Nitrogen is essential for plant growth in fertilizers, forms the basis of many explosive compounds, and is used in cryogenics for its low boiling point.

Nitrogen is the element found in fertilizers, explosives (such as TNT), and cryogenics (such as liquid nitrogen). Nitrogen is an essential nutrient for plants in the form of nitrates in fertilizers, a key component in the composition of explosives, and used in cryogenics for its low temperature properties.
Someone who studies cryogenics is called a cryogenicist.
