Severus Snape knew that Remus Lupin was keeping a secret and he was trying despreately to figure it out. Sirius Black thought it would be funny to help Snape and told him how to get past the Whomping Willow. Had James Potter not stopped Snape, Remus who had just transformed into a werewolf, would have killed him.
The Whomping Willow was planned when Sirius Black was a student at Hogwarts. He,and two other of his friends, decided they wanted to be shape-shifters. They each had their animal,(Sirius' was the wolf), and Sirius would change into this every month on the full moon. It soon became very hard to hide this secret, until Dumbledore came to know of this. He then created the Whomping Willow, which had a secret room at the bottom. Every Month, Sirius would go into the Whomping Willow and turn into the wolf and then come out again soon after without anyone coming to know.
The rising action is when Lupin, Sirius, Harry, Ron, Hermiony, Snape, and Petter Petigrew come out of the secret passageway under the whomping willow. The moon comes out (a full moon) causing Lupin to transform into his true form (a wearwolf). Sirius then scares him away to protect Harry, Ron and Hermiony. Sirius then chases after Lupin to keep him away from everyone while he is in this dangerous form.
Yes, at some point during their years at Hogwarts, Sirius Black tricked Severus Snape and told him that if he was to go the Whomping Willow and press a certain branch he would see something. James Potter found out just in time and stopped Snape from going into the shrieking shack where he would have met Remus Lupin, in werewolf form.
Harry and Ginny had two sons. The eldest of their children, James Sirius Potter, was named for Harry's deceased father, James Potter, and his godfather, Sirius Black. Their second son and middle child, Albus Severus Potter, was named for Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape.

Because Gryffindor and Slytherin are rivals and Snape did not like Sirius' friend, James Potter. Also, Sirius and James targeted Severus as someone to humiliate throughout their school years.

Harry Potter's children are James Sirius Potter and Albus Severus Potter. Does this answer your question?
It can be argued that Harry did, because he SAW Sirius before getting on the Knight Bus. He didn't know then, however, that the dog he saw was Sirius. He just thought it was a dog. After he learned who Siruis Black was however, the first one to see Sirius was Ron. Peter Pettigrew, disguised as Ron's rat, Scabbers, led him into the Whomping Willow and then Harry and Hermione followed.
