Why did dog the bounty hunter get arrested?

Dog was having a private conversation with his son Tucker[Dee Chapman] about Tucker's African-American girlfriend Monique. Dog called Monique the "N-word". Tucker then sold the tape to the national enquirer, then a&e found out and suspened production of the show. (The new season starts wed. July 16 on a&e). I'm not taking sides but Tucker kind of "sold his dad out". But then again Dog should not have refered Monique as "the N-word".

Dog the bounty hunter was arrested in Mexico after apprehending a United States fugitive. Not knowing his attempt to arrest said criminal was far out of his jurisdiction, he was then arrested by Mexican federal agents on kidnapping charges.

He was also sentenced to five years in prison in 1976 for the murder of a drug dealer.
